On Thursday, November 13, 2014 at 3:30pm Cleveland Hill senior Emily Maziarz signed her National Letter of Intent to attend Edinboro University of Pennsylvania and play softball. She was joined by family, friends, and several coaches.
Maziarz has played varsity softball for the Golden Eagles since seventh grade, earning 1st team division all-star recognition as a freshman, and has maintained her All Star status ever since. She has been a team captain and is a leader both offensively and defensively as a standout catcher.
Emily’s mother Joyce Maziarz has been extremely supportive and is very proud of her daughter’s accomplishments. Both her former softball coach Dave Hehr and current coach Justin Ditzel are enjoying the moment as 6 years of development, success, and experience behind the plate is about to transition to the next level after the 2015 softball season. Emily has represented Cleveland Hill in a positive way throughout her career and we look forward to her future at Edinboro.
Congratulations to Emily on advancing your academic and athletic careers at the next level. All of us at DigitalSports wish you luck!
